Where can the water filter straw be used?
Use the water filter straw for drinking from rivers, streams, lakes and other fresh water sources. Travel, backpacking, mountaineering, camping, back country adventures, hiking, walking, survival, perfect for your emergency kit.
HOW IT WORKS
The water filter straw works by forcing water through microscopic holes in a medical grade membrane (the same kind used for kidney dialysis) preventing, bacteria, protozoa and other particles from passing into the tiny straws which then enable you to drink clean water. The coconut carbon and silver ions help remove heavy metals and bad tastes.
If viruses may be present you may wish to use a purifying tablet in the filtered water before you drink it.
MULTIPLE OPTIONS FOR USE
1. Drink directly from the water source with or without the extension straw.
2. Attach to your HydraMate Foldable Bottle or any other standard 28mm screw top bottle.
3. Fill your HydraMate water bottle and squeeze into a clean container.
4. Attach to the end of your water bladder straw and drink normally
- Use the pre-filter attachment on the straw to remove large particles from the water before drinking
AFTER USE
Simply blow into the water filter straw or flick to expel any remaining water and dirt particles.
No syringe needed.
